Bank or Mortgage Broker
Call your bank or mortgage broker to see where things are at with your current mortgage so that you are not experiencing unexpected costs with selling and to get prepared for a new mortgage if you are buying a new property
You will need to call and cancel your utilities and home insurance for possession day
A week or two prior to possession, you will meet with your lawyer to go over documents, discuss how property taxes are adjusted and ensure everything in the contract is in place
You will have until noon on possession day to vacate the property. Once the lawyers receive the funds, the keys will be handed over to the buyers
